Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Maya Kato established Aesthetic Art with a vision to help patients achieve rejuvenation with surgical and non-surgical methods. Dr. Kato is a highly-trained specialist; she graduated Magna Cum Laude from UCLA and received her medical degree from UCSF. She is board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and has performed thousands of procedures with a focus on the head and face.
Dr. Kato has published numerous articles and book chapters and continues to be active in research and teaching. She has been involved in resident education at UCSF, UC Davis, Kaiser, and is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor at UC Riverside.
In addition to an illustrious career and her extensive experience, Dr. Maya Kato is known for performing injectables and other nonsurgical facial rejuvenation procedures with artistry and skill. She’s built a stellar reputation in the Palm Springs community with her comforting, compassionate approach to facial rejuvenation, and she’s known for ensuring her treatments are performed with minimal discomfort and bruising.
