The Surgical Technique Behind the Dr. V Mini-Lift
Unlike a full facelift which requires long scars along the hairline and near the ears (which can sometimes involve hair loss and large, visible scars), the Dr. V Mini-Lift utilizes small, easily concealed incisions about one-third the length of traditional facelift incisions. For most Mini-Lifts, Dr. V makes several curved incisions located around the ear, minimizing long-term visible scarring. Dr. V then removes excess fat, reshapes the facial musculature, and lifts the tissues of the lower face and upper third of the neck. The result: smooth, youthfully lifted facial contours for a refreshed, natural appearance!
