ULTHERA SYSTEM

HOW DOES THE ULTHERA SYSTEM WORK?
In order to effectively treat the problem of sagging facial skin, a therapeutic modality must be able to address and correct the structural weakening of the sub-dermal layers of the skin. Previous non-invasive therapies (ie. radio-frequency and laser treatment) have been unable to target these foundational layers, making a surgical facelift the only reliable skin lifting option until the development of the Ulthera System. Ultherapy utilizes micro-focused ultrasound energy to non-invasively target and treat the sub-dermal layers of the skin where the problem of skin laxity originates, providing skin-tightening and lifting benefits in a single 45-60 minute treatment, without requiring any post-procedural downtime.
Ultherapy is a highly versatile treatment, and is appropriate for patients of all skin types and ethnicities, with mild to moderate skin laxity (sagging), who are seeking non-surgical alternatives to a facelift or brow lift. The skin rejuvenating and lifting results of Ultherapy will gradually become visible 2-3 months following the treatment; however, many patients observe immediate improvements in the tightness, texture, and overall condition of their skin.
