FaceTite® & NeckTite™

A minimally-invasive procedure for long-lasting facial contouring.

At The Virginia Institute for Surgical Arts, Dr. V offers FaceTite® and NeckTite™ to patients who want meaningful tightening and contouring of the lower face and neck without the downtime or scarring of a full surgical lift. These treatments combine targeted fat reduction with radiofrequency skin contraction to refine the jawline, smooth jowls, and restore a firmer neck contour — all while stimulating your skin’s natural collagen over time.

What is FaceTite® / NeckTite™?

FaceTite and NeckTite are minimally invasive procedures that use radiofrequency technology. A tiny internal probe delivers controlled radiofrequency energy beneath the skin while an external electrode monitors the temperature, allowing Dr. V to safely heat and contract the dermis and underlying soft tissue. The RF energy helps melt or loosen small pockets of fat and immediately tightens the skin — and it also triggers collagen remodeling for continued improvement over months. These devices are part of the InMode family of RF-based treatments commonly used for facial and neck contouring.

What areas can be treated?

FaceTite and NeckTite are designed for precise work in the lower face and upper neck. Common treatment zones include:
  • Jawline and jowls (to restore a sharper jaw contour)
  • Submental area / “double chin” (remove small deposits and tighten)
  • Full neck (to address crepey or loose neck skin)
  • Lower cheeks and lower face contouring in selected patients
In some practices these technologies are also combined with treatments (e.g., microneedling/RF like Morpheus8) to address texture and surface wrinkles for a more comprehensive rejuvenation.

What to expect during the procedure

  • Consultation: Our team will evaluate skin laxity, fat distribution, and facial anatomy to determine whether FaceTite/NeckTite or a surgical lift is the best option.
  • Anesthesia: Most patients receive local anesthesia depending on the extent of treatment and patient comfort.
  • The treatment: Small access points (< a few millimeters) are made. The internal probe and external electrode are used to heat the tissue in a controlled, monitored fashion. Procedure length typically ranges from 30–90 minutes depending on areas treated.
  • Immediate results: You may notice immediate contouring from thermal contraction and fat removal; additional improvement occurs as swelling subsides and collagen remodels.

Recovery — Timeline & What To Expect

Recovery is generally quicker than an open surgical lift, but you should plan for a short healing period:

First 48–72 hours: Expect swelling, mild bruising, and a sensation of tightness. You’ll be given instructions for wound care and may wear a light compression garment or chin strap if advised.

Days 3–7: Many patients resume light daily activities and can often return to work within about 3–5 days depending on the extent of treatment and their comfort. Visible bruising and swelling typically improve substantially in the first one to two weeks.

Weeks 2–6: Residual swelling and numbness continue to settle. Collagen remodeling progresses and contour benefits become more noticeable.

Up to 3–6 months: Final results continue to refine as new collagen forms and the skin tightens further.

Individual recovery varies by patient and the scope of treatment; Dr. V will give detailed, personalized aftercare to speed recovery and optimize results.

Who is a good candidate?

FaceTite/NeckTite is best for patients who:

Have mild-to-moderate skin laxity (early jowls, mild to moderate neck laxity)

Want noticeable improvement but prefer to avoid the scars and downtime of a formal facelift/necklift.

Have realistic expectations about the degree of tightening (this is a powerful minimally invasive option, but it’s not a full surgical lift for severe laxity)

During your consultation Dr. V will discuss candidacy and whether combining FaceTite/NeckTite with other procedures (liposuction, Morpheus8, or filler) would give the ideal result.

Limitations

  • Not a substitute for a surgical facelift in cases of advanced skin laxity.
  • Best for patients with mild–moderate changes; severe jowling or a lot of loose skin may still require surgical lifting for optimal, long-term results.

Benefits

  • Meaningful skin contraction with limited scarring (tiny access points).
  • Targets fat removal and skin tightening simultaneously.
  • Shorter downtime vs traditional facelift/neck lift.
  • Stimulates natural collagen for progressive improvement.
